Loading Media Continued

When raising the pinch roller and media feed roller use the handle provided. When the roller has been raised

to its furthest the latch will lock it in place.

To release the roller, simply disengage

the latch by gently lifting the handle and

pulling the knob towards you,.

Always leave the lamination nip roller, media feed roller and cutter pinch roller latched up

when not using the machine. If the rollers are left in the same place for any extended periods of time the

rollers could develop a flat spot. If the machine is not being used for an extended period of time, release the

spring tensions on the nip rollers and replace when ready to be used again.

The machine will not function correctly if the media

is not routed all the way through the machine from

unwind to rewind mandrel. However the machine

can function correctly without lamination and waste

matrix stripping.

Media rewind

Whist running the machine it is strongly advised to keep the

rewinding media and the waste matrix diameters the same,

this can be achieved by changing the cores at the same time.

To save on waste cores simply wrap the waste matrix core in

brown paper to allow easy removal of the waste to save the

core for subsequent jobs.
