The machine will now prompt you to align the tool over the registration mark, at this stage use the
directional buttons to align the knife over the registration mark, once this has been achieved it is important
to retract the media approximately 10mm (1cm) behind the knife, this will allow the sensor to run onto the
registration mark to begin cutting. Press the enter key to start cutting.
Always retract the media 10mm after aligning the knife to the registration mark before cutting begins.
Next you will see the ‘Output Setup Details’
dialogue box, on the ‘Selection’ tab change to ‘Colour
in Selection’ so that the cutter will cut out all the shapes
that are the same colour as the one you selected earlier.
Click on ‘Send to Cutter’ and the cut data will be sent
to the
LF700
.
It is important to note that the OPOS sensor has two
positions, up and down. The machine will only cut correctly
if the sensor is in the down position. To place the sensor in the
down position simply push the sensor down with your finger
until it sits just above the media or until the sensor can no longer
move any lower. If OPOS automatic up and down is set to ‘On’
the sensor will move up and down automatically.
