APPENDIX F

2. In "Select the File System" menu, choose the "High Performance File

System" option (follow disk duplexing function) and proceed with the OS/2
Installation.

LAN Manager Installation

1. After the OS/2 system is installed successfully, reboot the system.

2. Insert Disk 1, LAN Manager "OS/2 - SETUP" diskette, into drive A.

3. Go to the OS/2 Full Screen and type "A:SETUP" and press the return key.

4. Proceed with the installation until the "Install LAN Manager" menu

appears and then select the "Server" option.

Refer to the LAN Manager documentation for a detailed description on installation.

Fault Tolerance Setup

1. After the LAN Manager is successfully installed, go to the OS/2 window.

2. Run "FDISKPM" program to create a partition.

3. Run "FTSETUP" program to setup the fault tolerant parameters.

Refer to the OS/2 documentation for a detailed description on all of the above.
