17. SYSTEM PROGRAMMING
VERIFY
Click on this button to check that a previously saved file you have on your computer matches the programming
on a door panel. “Open” the file then click on “Verify” - you will receive confirmation via the “Information”
window if the files do/do not match.
SHOW NUMBER OF FLAT ENTRIES
Click on this button to check if you have inadvertently duplicated flat numbers. Any duplications and which
distribution nodes they are on will be shown on the screen.
CLEAR ALL FLAT DATA
Click on this button to clear all information from the screen only, not the door panel. Once you have entered
the new flat numbering data click on the
“Send ALL Data TO Panel”
button to over-write all previous door
panel programming.
PORT 1 TO PORT 8
This is where you enter the flat numbers that are connected to the distribution node output Ports.
For example; if flat 10 is connected to Port 1 of Board 1 then type “10” in the Distribution Node 1 Port 1 box.
If Flat 11 is connected to Port 2 of Node 1 then type “11” in Port 2 box.
LOCATION
This is a text box where you can add a note of where the distribution node is located in the building e.g. first
floor riser cupboard.
NEXT NODE
Click on this button when the flat numbers have all been entered for the first distribution node.
The DIL switch graphic will change to show how the actual DIL switches on distribution board 2 will need to be
set. Continue filling in the flat numbers against the relevant Port numbers then click on the “Next Unit” button
again to move on.
PREVIOUS NODE
Click on this button to go back to the previous distribution node.
Note: you can also slide the DIL switch graphic to directly select any distribution node.
AUTO FILL
If the flat numbers run sequentially and there are no distribution node ports left un-connected then the Auto
Fill option will greatly speed up programming.
Enter the first flat number (lowest in sequence) in the “Start” box and the highest number in the “End” box.
Enter a “1” in the “Increment” box if the numbering is sequential
Enter a “2” if you have odd or even numbers only, or enter whatever number increment is.
Enter “FFFF” in the Port number box you want the sequence to start.
Now click on the “Auto Fill” button and the flat numbering will be entered for you.
Use the Next/Previous Node buttons to manually check the numbering is what you require.
SEARCH
If you want to quickly find where a particular flat is connected on the system; enter the flat number in the box
and click on the “Search” button. The port number and distribution node number the flat is connected to will
be displayed, this function will also highlight any duplication of the same flat number.
