19. DOOR PANEL DISPLAY MESSAGES
THESE MESSAGES CAN BE DISPLAYED ON THE DOOR PANEL…

DIAL
”
the display continuously scrolls this message when idle and waiting for a user
“
CALL
” the telephone is ringing in the flat (ring tone also heard at door panel)
“
ANS
” the telephone has been answered and conversation time starts (3 rising pips also heard at door panel)
“
HUNG UP
” the telephone has been placed back on the hook without pressing lock release button
“
OPEN
” the door lock is released (pulsed open tone also heard at door panel)
“
NO ANS
” the number of rings has expired without the telephone being answered
“
END OF CALL
” the conversation time has expired
“
ATG
” the lock release time has ended because door has been opened (Anti Tail Gate)
“
BUSY
” the system in use from another door panel (
FLAT BUSY
if telephone in use on multi-speech systems)
“
CODE
” if the CALL button is pressed without entering a flat number (i.e. Coded Access Mode)
“
OFF
” if the TRADE button is pressed outside a trade time period
“
FLAT nnn OFF
” the flat number you are calling has the telephone switched off (i.e. Privacy Mode is ON)
“
OFF REST
” the telephone in the flat you are calling has been left off the hook
“
TRAN
” the flat you are calling has their call diverted (i.e. your call is being transferred)
“
FLAT LOC BUTTON FAULT
” the telephone has the lock button stuck in
“
NO FLAT nnn HERE
” the flat number you called does NOT exist
“
HOLD
” count down period for Anti-Hog option (used on multi-entrance systems only)

PTE
” when the “Press to Exit” button connected to the door panel has been pressed
“
PTE-
” when the “Press to Exit” button is released and the time you have set is counting down
“

” four dots at the bottom of the display show that the door contacts are operated
“

” four bars falling down the display show that Soft Close is operating
“
STAR
” if the CANCEL button is pressed without entering any numbers

HASH
” if the CALL button is pressed and the panel has not been programmed

NOT IN USE
” if the A-F button is pressed and no letters have been set in programming
“
END
” when the end of flat number sequence is reached on a Dial Functional Door Panel
“
PANEL NOT CONFIGURED
” the door panel has not been programmed
“
NOT SET
” if you press a flat number button on a Functional panel that has not been programmed
“
BUS n LINE FAULT
” if there’s a fault on the system wiring this display will show when any flat is called.

” corresponds to the PCB terminal; L (lock line), 1 (audio to phone & ring) and 2 (audio to door).
