18.2.2 Multiple-Unit Control
“Multiple Scaler” Toolbar Item
With a suitable serial port router or Ethernet connection, you can control
multiple RGB Scalers from the utility. This menu item allows you to enable
paths to more than one Scaler and then control the Scaler in sequential
fashion. The majority of users will only control one Scaler in which case only
Scaler 1 will be enabled. (In this case, the selection of Scaler 1 is
automatically done for you as part of the initialization process when you first
establish a communications link).
18.3 Presets Menu
“Presets” Toolbar Items
The “Preset” sub menu items are all associated with either reading or creating
presets associated with an individual input button. “Read Presets” transfers
any preset information (built manually using the Menu Select knob and Rotary
Encoder) into the PC’s memory. You can then use the utility to execute these
previously created preset conditions. “Program Presets” and “Save Presets”
allow the creation and storage of new preset conditions from the utility itself.
