18.10.3 Output Tab:
“Output” Tab
The “Output” folder’s screen controls the characteristics of the Scaler’s output.
Using the drop down list labeled ‘Output Image’, you can select NTSC or PAL
as the output type or choose from several dozen RGB image formats.
You can position the full size output image on the monitor, Zoom or Shrink the
image and position the modified image within the full screen. Beneath the
positioning controls, you can make adjustments to how fast or slowly the
images change in response to input selections (Fade Rate) as well as adjust
the image parameters for the output. Finally, you can specify the type of
output image you desire, the aspect ratio, flip the output image and freeze the
image.
Note: You performed similar image manipulations via the Inputs tab but those
only applied to a specific input. These adjustments apply to the output and
therefore have an effect on all images output by the Scaler).
