Laser light is generated in the laser device and coupled into the 
laser light cable (3). In the collimation unit of the programmable 
focusing optics (PFO), the laser light is emitted conically from 
the laser light cable. The collimator (12) forms a collimated laser 
beam which runs nearly parallel.
