7. Verify both LEDs turn off when the EPP (SPED) is initialized by the terminal
software (EPP application ready).
8. Lock the control panel and log into Management Functions. Select "Key Man-
agement" and select "Enter Master Keys."
9. Enter the User 1 and User 2 passwords.
10. Enter the PIN Master Key. If the returned check digit is correct, then down-
load the Working Key. Verify the returned check digit.
11. Exit from Management Functions. Enter Customer Transactions and perform
a test transaction to verify the ATM op er ates correctly.

*NOTE*
The "Clear" button is inactive when entering the PIN Master
Key. If an error is made, it will be necessary to press the the
"Cancel" button and start the key entry over again from the
start of the fi rst key half.
If any key part is accepted and does not return the correct
check digits, it may have been entered incorrectly. If it has
been entered correctly, there may be a problem with the PIN
Master Key and/or the check digits provided by the processor,
the T5 EPP assembly or software.
**IMPORTANT**
User 1 and User 2 passwords must be at least 8 characters. Both
passwords must be entered within 10 minutes or the session will
timeout and it will be necessary to start over at the beginning.
Pressing the "Clear" button will return the program to the "Key
Management" page of the menu.
**IMPORTANT**
Tampers cannot be cleared. If the PCI Sagem T5 EPP detects a
tamper condition, it must be replaced and returned for repair.
