Rheostat Adjustment 

Most vent configurations will require no adjustment to the rheostat.

  Vent configurations that fall 

within the shaded area in the diagram below require the rheostat to be set to medium, medium-high, or 
high (the rheostat ships in the medium position).   

 

NOTE

: The minimum vent length is 54” (this prevents the exhaust blower from over-heating). 

NOTE

: The exhaust blower will run on high for approximately 6 minutes once the fireplace is turned on.  

The rheostat then controls the speed of the exhaust blower after 5 minutes.   

The rheostat is located under the fireplace access cover on the left side.  Remove the glass frame to 
access. 

NOTE: Make sure to re-install the rotating plate correctly.  If you put it on upside-down it will not calibrate 
correctly.
