Wiring the Exhaust Blower 

 

Do not connect 110-120 VAC to the gas control valve or wiring system of this fireplace.   

 

The exhaust box is wired to the 120v line exiting the exhaust blower rheostat.  Connect a minimum 12 
gauge sheathed three-wire electrical line from the rheostat to the exhaust blower junction box.  Attach 
the wires as shown below. 

 

Test blower operation after attaching the wiring (leave gas off, turn appliance on, verify blower 

functions correctly).   

 

 

Remove the cover plate on the exhaust blower 
housing. 

 

Route the electrical line through the romex 
connector and attach the 120v wiring as detailed in 
the wiring diagram.
