Wiring the Exhaust Blower (continued) 

 

In addition to the exhaust blower line, a low-voltage wire harness is routed from the exhaust damper 
to the fireplace (see page 6 for wire lengths and part numbers).   

 

Route the exhaust damper wire harness through 
the junction box plate (make sure to use the correct 
end).   Attach the molex connector from the 
harness to the molex connector inside the exhaust 
box assembly).  Slide the strain relief over the wire 
harness and press it into the junction box cover to 
secure the wire.

Replace the junction box cover, making sure all 
wiring is properly inserted. 

 

 

Route the wire harness to the fireplace and attach 
to the molex connector on the fireplace junction box 
(see photo below) .  Secure the wiring with the 
included strain relief.  Re-attach the junction box 
cover (see photo below to right). 

 

Caution

: 

Label all wires prior to disconnection 
when servicing controls.  Wiring errors 
can cause improper and dangerous 
operation.
