Installing X-Slot Card in SwitchMaster™ Unit

WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER CORD from SwitchMaster™ Unit
before installing the X-Slot card. Failure to observe this warning could
result in personal injury or death from electrical shock.

WARNING: AVOID CONTACT WITH POWER SUPPLY during X-Slot
card installation. Failure to observe this warning could result in personal
injury from electrical shock caused by capacitive discharge.

CAUTION: Wear a grounding device and observe electrostatic discharge
precautions when installing the X-Slot card. (Attach free end of
grounding device to any bare metal on SwitchMaster™ Unit chassis.)
Failure to observe this caution could result in circuit board failure.

Tools:

Medium Phillips screwdriver

To install the X-Slot card:

1. Place SwitchMaster™ Unit on table or other stable surface.

2. Using medium Phillips screwdriver, remove twelve (12) screws that

secure cover to SwitchMaster™ Unit.

3. Slide cover approximately one inch toward back of SwitchMaster™

Unit to disengage cover from SwitchMaster™ Unit.

4. Lift cover from SwitchMaster™ Unit and set aside.
