Transferring TE/OS.bin software
To transfer the TE/OS.bin software.
1. Load the TRANSITION Networks software update disk into the ASCII
terminal PC.
2. Using methods appropriate to the attached terminal, download the
bootp.bin code from the TRANSITION Networks software update into
the reserved SwitchMaster™ Bridge memory.
3. At the X MODEM FILE DOWNLOAD MENU display on the attached
ASCII terminal, depending upon the protocols installed on the
terminal ASCII terminal PC, select one of the menu options:
5. Download TE/OS code using X_MODEM/CRC
6. Download TE/OS code using X_MODEM
by typing and entering the number

The SwitchMaster™ Bridge reserves memory for downloading the
update software.
4. Using methods appropriate to the attached terminal, download the
TE/OS.bin code from the TRANSITION Networks software update disk
into the reserved SwitchMaster™ Bridge memory.
5. To continue to normal Phase 2 operation, at the X MODEM FILE
DOWNLOAD MENU display on the attached ASCII terminal, select
the menu option
0. Continue Bootup Process
by typing and entering the number
0

NOTE: If the files load successfully, the system continues to Phase 2
operation.
