3.  INSTALLATION

3.4

Connecting to Power

To connect the SwitchMaster™ Bridge to power:

1. At SwitchMaster™ Bridge back, locate the power receptacle and

associated fuse.

CAUTION: Fuse must be installed at correct setting for power source
voltage before connecting to AC voltage. Failure to observe this caution
could result in equipment damage.

2. Verify that the fuse is installed at the correct setting for power source

voltage.

NOTE: Installed fuse rating orientation is indicated by reading in lower
right corner of fuse holder. 

If not installed at correct setting:

•

Carefully open fuse receptacle, using small flat blade
screwdriver. 

•

Rotate fuse 180º to correct rating orientation.

•

Install fuse holder in correct rating orientation.

•

Close fuse receptacle.

3. Plug female unit end of power cord into SwitchMaster™ Bridge power

receptacle.

4. Plug male outlet end of power cord into correct voltage AC wall

socket.

5. At SwitchMaster™ Bridge front, verify that the POWER LED is

illuminated.

When the SwitchMaster™ Bridge is powered, Status LEDs at the
SwitchMaster™ Bridge front cycle during internal SwitchMaster™ Bridge
diagnostic testing. The Status LEDs cycle in a steady roll when the
SwitchMaster™ Bridge is fully operational.
