Testing WCS Signal Quality and Battery Life
To test the radio signal quality between the WCS and the WCI, and WCS battery life:
1. Press the WCS center keypad button twice.
2. Observe the radio signal quality symbol on the display and refer to

50–3% battery life remaining.
Less than 3% battery life remaining.
When the remaining battery power is approximately 1%, the battery symbol will flash on the main
display screen. In the test mode display screen, the empty battery symbol will not flash.
Checking Signal Quality on a Site
Follow these steps to check the signal quality on a site:
1. Power up a WCI with a 24 V transformer (user supplied).
2. Associate the WCS to a WCI of the same model that is intended for the job.
