3) The trigger (9) is released, the cam (6) goes in contact with the plate/ girder, the setting lever
(8) swings around its axis (21)C the safety mechanism is in action and the clamp is ready to
perform the lifting operation.
4) The plate/ girder can be lifted.
5) When the plate/ girder has been moved and laid down, free the clamp by activating the lever
(8). The clamp is now ready to be used again.
•
Use conditions: see sketches at the end of the manual.
•
The plate or piece to be lifted must always be driven home into the throat of the clamp.
•
Surface hardness of pieces to be lifted: maxi. 330 BH and mini. tensile strength 20 daN/mm².
•
Some stainless steels are particularly abrasive. Inspect for wear of teeth of the cam in this
case.
•
Girders or plates to be lifted must not have a coating facilitating slipping (eg: grease, oil,
paint…).
•
For safety’s sake, ensure clamps are always unlocked (cam closed) when not in use.
•
Never lift more than one plate or girder at a time.
•
Apply the downgradation if necessary (see sketch).
•
The minimum weight of lifting load should be equal to 5% of the clamp’s WLL (e.g. if clamps
WLL is 1000 kg, then minimum weight is 50 kg). This value is given for a clamp in perfect
working order and respecting Tractel Solutions SAS conditions of use and recommendations.
Consult Tractel in case of loads with weight inferior to the minimum recommended value.
•
Lifting clamps are not suitable for creating permanent joints.
•
Working temperature: -20°C to +100°C.

Para la seguridad de empleo del material y su eficacia, es necesario, antes de utilizar el material,
conocer la presente nota de instrucciones y conformarse a todas sus prescripciones.
•
NO UTILIZAR NUNCA ESTE O ESTOS ACCESORIOS PARA TRANSPORTAR
PERSONAS.
•
No exceder nunca la carga máxima de utilización CMU/ WLL (ver marcado).
•
Jamas modificar el material con soldaduras, taladros o otros mediós.
•
Utilizarlo solamente para el tipo de levantamiento previsto.
•
No pasar nunca bajo la carga.
•
Cuando se deposita la carga o la pinza, éste debe ser colocado de manera estable.
•
Consultarnos para cualquier utilización en un medio agresivo particular.
•
Controlar con regularidad el buen estado del material (Ver párrafo Mantenimiento).
•
Sólo se deben utilizar piezas de repuesto originales TRACTEL SOLUTIONS.
VERIFICACIONES REGLAMENTARIAS OBLIGATORIAS
•
Verificación antes de la puesta o nueva puesta en servicio: según la reglamentación nacional.
•
Verificación periódica obligatoria de conformidad a la reglamentación nacional. Aconsejada
cada 12 meses por TRACTEL SOLUTIONS.
•
Se debe efectuar un examen profundizado como mínimo 2 veces por año, o todos los meses
cuando se utiliza de forma intensiva o en medio agresivo, en particular sobre cualquier
alteración de las piezas por golpes, corrosión, fisuración, deformación.
•
TRACTEL SOLUTIONS queda a su disposición para realizar toda verificación reglamentaria.
MANTENIMIENTO
Hacer realizar los controles y operaciones de mantenimiento por personas competentes y
especialistas.
•
Verificar regularmente (antes de cada utilización) el perfecto funcionamiento del material.
•
Efectuar una inspección visual y de buen funcionamiento antes de cada utilización.
