Expansion I/O units

When you use Expansion I/O unit, you

should register Expansion I/O unit to

project, and register tags of it.

If the information of project is different

from actual Expansion I/O unit, PMIU

unit

cause

mismatch

error

and

cannot RUN except RUN-F mode.

Manual allocation

Select “Expansion” folder, then the list of Expansion IO unit is displayed in work space area. To add Expansion

I/O unit, right click on list and select “Edit.” Select tabs of slot, select model, and click “OK”.

In “Model”, “Not installed” means the slot is not used. When you remove existing Expansion I/O unit, select

this option. It is necessary to use the slot sequentially; you cannot skip slot number that you use.

“Add tags for XW, YW and MW used for expansion modules” option adds tags automatically.
