Port Z(PZ2 to PZ3)
Port Z is the 2-bit general-purpose I/O port. I/O is set using control register PZCR and PZFC. Resetting
resets all bits of the output latch PZ to “1”.
In addition to functioning as a general-purpose I/O port, Port Z also functions as I/O for the CPU’s
control / status signal.
Resetting initializes PZ2 and PZ3 pins to input mode with pull-up register.
When the PZ<RDE> register clearing to “0”,outputs the RD strobe (used for the peused static RAM) of
the RD pin even when the internal addressed.
If the <RDE> remains “1”, the RD strobe signal is output only when the external address are is
accessed.
