Calculating Control Power Capacity
The power capacity of the controller can be calculated in the following manner. The
power connected to the controller should exceed the capacity obtained from the following
equation.
(Power capacity) = (Power capacity of control unit) + (Power capacity of servo driver)
a) Power capacity of control unit
The power capacity of the controller excluding the servo driver is as follows:
Power capacity of control unit ..... 208 VA
b) Power capacity of servo driver
The power capacity of the servo driver is the total of the power capacities of the servo
motors used in the robot. The following table lists the power capacity of each motor.
