Introduction
Optical disc drive

In this manual, the word "HDD" or "Hard disk drive" also refers to the
SSD unless otherwise stated.
■
SSD is a large-capacity storage media which uses Solid-State Memory
in place of a magnetic disk of the hard disk.
■
Under certain unusual conditions of prolonged non-use and/or
exposure to high temperatures, the SSD may be vulnerable to data
retention errors.
DVD Super Multi drive
The drive reads DVD-ROM's at a maximum 8x
speed and CD-ROM's at a maximum 24x speed,
and writes CD-R's and CD-RW's at up to 24x
speed, DVD-R's, DVD+R's and DVD+W's at up to
8x speed, DVD-RW, DVD-R (Dual Layer) and
DVD+R (Double Layer) at up to 6x speed, DVD-
RAM at up to 5x speed, and supports the
