Using the TV’s features (General)
•
Wear the 3D glasses properly, otherwise you
may not see the correct 3D image.
•
When not viewing 3D images on this unit, take
off the 3D glasses; otherwise, it may be difficult
to see the display on other products such as
PC, digital clock or calculator, etc.
About the connecting cable
•
Use a high-speed and high-quality HDMI
cable when you connect a device such as 3D
compatible BD player or PC to the TV. When you
use a standard HDMI cable, 3D images may not
be shown.
About the lithium-ion polymer rechargeable
battery
•
Do not nail, hammer, or step on the battery.
Doing so may cause a short circuit, leading to
overheating, cracking, or fire.
•
Do not overheat, disassemble, or short-circuit
the battery, or throw it into fire.
Doing so may cause cracking or fire.
•
Do not connect the battery cord with metal
items such as wires. Also, do not carry or store
the battery with metal items such as necklaces
or hairpins.
Doing so may cause a short circuit, leading to
overheating, cracking, or fire.
If the 3D PIN number has been forgotten:
Use the Master PIN code of 1276 and change to a
number of your choice� Select
3D PIN Setup
from the
Preferences
/
3D Setup
menu to enter PIN�
Viewing 3D programming requires the following
(which are not included):
• Compatible Toshiba 3D glasses (only one supplied).
• Compatible 3D playback device or 3D source.
• 3D capable HDMI cable.

closes alternately with
the images for the left
eye and for the right eye

In this way, 3D images
are reproduced.

Receives the infrared
signal for the liquid-
crystal shutter
control sent from the
television.
USB terminal
When charging the battery,
connect to the TV with the
battery charge cable.
Power switch and
power light
Turns on or off the
power of 3D glasses
with the switch.
– When working, the
power light blinks
once every 2
seconds.
– When the power is
turned off, the power
light goes out.
To set the 3D glasses:

When you use for the first
time, peel off the protective
films from the lenses.

Turn the 3D glasses on with
the power switch�
Note:
If the infrared data communication between the
television and 3D glasses is lost for 5 minutes, the
3D glasses turn off automatically to preserve battery
life.
To charge the battery:
If the 3D glasses are turned on while the battery power is
low, the power light will blink 5 times� (If the battery is
dead, the power light will not blink or light�)

Turn the 3D glasses off with the power switch, and
connect to the TV with the battery charge cable�
