This allows a temporary IP address to be automatically assigned to a host, when the host
is connected to the network.
Domain Name System (DNS)
This is a static, hierarchical name service for TCP/IP clients.
Windows Internet Name Service (WINS)
This resolves the NetBIOS computer name to the I/P address.
❖
Select the network service, and then click Next.
Domain/Workgroup Setting
After completing the settings on the Network Services Setting screen (if you specified
TCP/IP as the network protocol) or the Network Protocol Setting screen (if you did not
specify TCP/IP as the network protocol), the Domain/Workgroup Setting screen appears.
This screen is used to specify the name of the domain or workgroup in which your
computer is connected.
NOTE: When you install IIS using the SST automatic installation procedure, only
the IIS included on the Windows NT CD-ROM is installed. If you want to install
another IIS version, you must manually install it after installing Windows NT Server
4.0.
