1. Guide the cables through the pipe on the mounting flange (4) into the interior of
the boat.
2. Guide the pipe for the pylon through the pipe on the mounting flange.
ADVICE
Ensure that the sealing surfaces on the pipe on the pylon, the mounting
flange, and the O-rings on the pipe on the pylon remain clean, undamaged,
and well greased (e.g. with Klüber Unisilikon TK M 1012).
3. Secure the M10x35 bolts (5) using a screw fixative (e.g. Loctite 248).
4. Tighten the three M10x35 bolts (5) (37 +/- 3 Nm).
5. Seal the bolt holes using the sealing plugs provided (6), in order to prevent
corrosion.
6. Press the sealing plugs (6) in so that the compressed air escapes.
7. Apply a thread sealant to the thread on the pipe connection (2) (e.g. Loctite 577).
8. Screw the shaft hose onto the threaded pipe connection (2) (max. 60 +/- 6 Nm).
ADVICE
The three O-rings and the surface with which they make contact, as well as
the two O-rings inside the threaded pipe connection must be undamaged,
clean, and well greased (e.g. with Klüber Unisilikon TK M 1012).
9. Turn the threaded connection for the shaft hose until the sealing ring makes
contact with the threaded pipe connection (2).
10. Twist the threaded connection for the shaft hose a quarter to a half turn further
until it is firmly seated on the threaded pipe connection (2).
11. Connect the connections to the electronics box,
