8.5 Replacing the propeller
WARNING!
Danger of injury from propeller!
Moderate or severe physical injuries may result.
■
When working on the propeller, always switch the system off at the main
switch.
■
Pull out the Emergency Stop magnetic chip.

Disassembly
1. Unscrew the shaft anode (1) using an SW 32 open-end spanner.
2. Remove the split pin (2).
3. Remove the castle nut (3) (SW 24) and remove the washer (4).
4. Pull off the propeller.
ADVICE
During removal and installation, ensure that the axial thrust washer (5) is not
lost.
5. Visual inspection for damage and foreign objects, e.g. fishing lines.
