8.4 Disassembling the motor
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from heavy loads.
Damage to health can result.

Do not lift the Cruise system on your own; use suitable lifting gear.
CAUTION!
Damage to the battery or other electrical loads from a short circuit.
Material damage can result.
■
When working on the electronics box, always switch the Cruise system off at
the main switch.
■
Before starting work, always use a suitable test tool to confirm that the
component is not live.
ADVICE
We recommend that the 10 FP TorqLink system is installed/removed only by a
certified boat builder.

For simple disassembly of the 10 FP TorqLink system, the
motor can be unscrewed from the mounting flange. In this process, the mounting
flange itself, which is typically attached to the boat by means of sealant, remains on
the boat.
1. Loosen the four screws of the electronics box in order to open it, see
"Fig. 44:
Screws for electronics box"

2. Disconnect the plugged connection for the data cable (1).
3. Disconnect the motor cable from the electronics box by releasing the nuts on the
connection cable (2).
