Maintenance

Note:

Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.

Recommended Maintenance Schedule(s)

Maintenance Service

Interval

Maintenance Procedure

Before each use or daily

• Check the safety-interlock system.
• Charge the batteries.
• Inspect the blades.

After each use

• Clean the mower-deck housing.

Every 25 hours

• Grease the front wheel bearings.
• Clean the batteries.
• Check the tire pressure.

Before storage

• Perform all maintenance procedures listed above before storage.
• Paint any chipped surfaces.

Monthly

• Check for battery leaks.

Every 2 months

• Charge the batteries when not in use.

CAUTION

If you leave the key in the switch, someone could accidently start the machine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.

Shut off the machine and remove the key from the switch before you perform any maintenance.

Pre-Maintenance Procedures

Accessing the Batteries

1.

Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the blade-control switch, and engage the parking
brake.

2.

Shut off the machine and remove the key.

3.

Tilt the seat forward.
