An active component in the RAID array has been marked as
faulty. The RAID spare, if available, will now be used.
An additional alert will be sent indicating the next step.
FailSpare
High
A spare component device which was being rebuilt to replace
a faulty device has failed. If another spare is available, it will
be used. If no other spare devices are available then the
RAID will run in degraded mode until both the spare and failed
device are replaced.
Perform appropriate actions to replace the failed spare disk.
DeviceDisappeared
High
The RAID array which was previously configured appears to
no longer be configured. The RAID is not defined and is
therefore no longer running.
Check the RAID array, make sure that all disks are securely
inserted into the bruAPP Backup Appliance and reboot the
bruAPP.

Colors in the priority field are the same colors used on the alert box displayed on the web interface.
In addition to these alerts, the web interface will display alerts that may occur during boot. The possible
messages are shown in figure 8.13.
Web alerts will include a timestamp to inform you of when the alert was made.

System Reboot
Informational
The bruAPP Backup Appliance has had a system configuration
change that requires a system reboot in order for the change to
become fully effective.
Please reboot the bruAPP Backup Appliance as soon as
possible to allow all changes to be properly made.
Server Restart
Informational
The BRU Server Server daemon has had a configuration
change that requires the daemon to be restarted in order for
the change to become effective.
This type of change is any type of change to the BRU Server
software itself, such as a license file change.
Please restart the BRU Server server daemon on the bruAPP
as soon as possible.
