3U rackmount
systems do not have a faceplates/bezel. The power button is located on either the rear
of the unit or on the front of the unit in the bottom-left (see figure 6.3) or bottom-right corner with the
LED indicator lights below the power button.

All 3U systems utilize a hard drive carrier that inserts vertically instead of horizontally. The drives for 3U
bruAPP
ʼ
s will also ship separately due to weight limitations of packing and to ensure the hard drives are
not damaged during shipment. Make sure you insert all hard drives into the bruAPP before you power
on a 3U bruAPP for the first time.
