Selecting GPX configuration allows the user to
specify the GPX4000LZs mode of operation
(either CO
2
GPX Laser Fusion, CO
2
GPX End
Cap or CO
2
GPX Filament Fusion).
GPX 3000 series configuration should only be
selected when using GPX 3000 series
machines with no CO
2
laser.
The current GPX configuration is indicated in
the title bar of FFS3s main window
The CO
2
Splice Normalization values in this
window are predefined by Vytran. The process
is used to calibrate the power and splice
position
in
CO
2
GPX
Laser
Fusion
configuration.
The Filament Normalization values in this
window are predefined by Vytran. The process
is used to calibrate the power and splice
position in filament configuration.
d. Splice
The Splice Menu provides access to Splice,
Taper and PM Alignment properties (these
being
the
most
commonly
accessed
properties). The user can also access the
splice process sequence (one button splice).
