The active rotation alignment method begins with a normal edge alignment, but does not execute the "Auto Gap"
process. Before beginning an active rotation alignment, make sure the light source and polarization analyzer are
attached correctly to the 'Analog 2' output. After completing the edge alignment at the pre-gap distance, one would
normally insert the "Active Rotation" process prior to "Auto gap", "Edge Align", "Splice Process". Edge Align requires
three separate stages; an alignment in back view, followed by an alignment in front view and a repeat alignment in
back view.
5.14.7 Multiple-Stage and Multiple File Splicing
For specialized applications, the user can develop a custom splice profile in which the furnace motion, fusion power
and argon flow (if applicable) can be different to the standard splice process. The custom profile is executed as a
series of stages and begins after the fusion source has reached the splice power (including ramping) as defined in
the Splice Properties tab.

Users can add or remove multiple pre-saved splice files in the Multiple File Splice Properties Window. The system
will perform the splicing function according to the sequence of the files in this window and repeat execution of each
file a specified number of times. In this way, iterative processes can be developed, further enhancing the capability
of the GPX. It is important to note that when the Multi-File Splice is enabled, it will take priority over the file that is
open when the One Button Process is pressed (Blue Button).
