Thermo Scientific CryoStar NX70 Operator Guide

Favourites

Favourites are a set of pre-set values for the specimen head and blade temperature.

The user can program three favourites to allow quick selection of the set of temperatures most often used.

Note

Whenever a temperature setting is altered the cryostat will require a period of time to reach the set
temperature. Observe the readings on the display and begin sectioning when the pre-set value is reached.

To program Favourites:

•

Press the "Menu" button on the Main screen.

•

The Menu screen will appear.

•

Press “Favourites” to enter the menu.

•

The Menu: Favourites screen will appear.
