A. Connector Pinouts, LEDs, Switches

A.2.2

Baseboard VME P2

SCSI port A, Ethernet MII port A and alarm signals are routed to P2. Additional P2 pinout varies with the
board configuration: in PS/2 mode, either PS/2 keyboard/mouse signals or serial port B signals are available
on P2. In Sun mode, Sun keyboard/mouse signals are available on P2. Refer to Section 2.1, "Determine Board
Type and Configuration," on page 2-1. Selection between serial port B and PS/2 keyboard/mouse signals is
made by solder beads SB1801 to SB1811. Refer to Section B.3.1, "Baseboard Solder Beads," on page B-6.

P2 also contains 3 unbuffered, active low, alarm output signals:

– POWER FAIL: Asserted on Power Failure (refer to 6.1.4, "Power Management System," on page

6-3) or when VME ACFAIL is active

– HI TEMP: Asserted when Critical Temperature is reached (refer to 6.2, "Temperature Sensor," on

page 6-5)

– SW ALARM: User-defined. Asserted on a write access to address 0x1ff.f110.0000. Refer to the

USPIIi-1v Software Manual.
