RES-XR4-3U Installation Manual

Themis Computer

The RES-XR4-3U chassis that are configured for front-I/O connector and front-PCI
card access in a 17” chassis makes it more convenient to install cables to the system
and demands no access to the rear of the chassis except to replace a fan.

Each 3RU-high (5.25”) RES-XR4-3U chassis has been designed to fit into a stan-
dard 19” width rack and is provided with rack-mount brackets with handles.

Optional

 rack-mount slides are also available. The RES-XR4-3U is rugged enough

to withstand extreme shock (up to 30 g), temperature, and EMI such as that associ-
ated with such demanding markets as the military, aerospace, and telecommunica-
tions industries. 

An overview of RES-XR4-3U design and specifications is given in Chapter 1,
"Overview and Specifications", of this manual.

This manual is intended for an experienced system administrator with a knowledge
of both networking and high-speed server systems.
