3—BIOS Setup Utility

Advanced Setup Configurations

Package C-State limit (Available when Power Technology is
set to Custom)

This feature allows the user to set the limit on the C-State package register. The
options are C0, C2, C6, C7 and

No Limit.

Energy Performance Bias

Use this feature to select an appropriate fan setting to achieve maximum system per-
formance (with maximum cooling) or maximum energy efficiency with maximum
power saving). The fan speeds are controlled by the firmware management via IPMI
2.0. The options are Performance,

Balanced Performance

, Balanced Energy, and

Energy Efficient.

Factory Long Duration Power Limit

This item displays the power limit (in watts) set by the manufacturer during which
long duration power is maintained.

This item displays the power limit (in watts) set by the user during which long dura-
