3. ALTITUDE SELECT - SET target altitude using knobs.

CAUTION

THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN THE G1000 ALT

SEL FEATURE AND THE KAP 140 ALTITUDE ALERT

FUNCTION.

 NOTE

At 1000 feet before the altitude selection, an electronic

sound or tone will be supplied for the pilot. Altitude changes

of more than 200 feet from the altitude selection will cause

a series of short tones to alert the pilot.
