SAFETY
Safety features for the SmartPReP 2 System are constantly monitored and controlled to ensure safe
operation of the unit. The possible system faults that are monitored are:
Open Lid:
A sensor on the lid ensures that the SmartPReP 2 system is never operated with the lid
open.
Out of Balance:
An out of balance detector has been incorporated into the SmartPReP 2 system to
ensure that imbalances in the rotor are not allowed to create an unsafe operating condition.
Stop Button:
A stop button is provided on the User Interface Panel to allow the user to stop the
process safely and quickly.
