» Press the symbol on the MFA master instrument to show the current engine temperature in
the display.
- At an engine temperature of 98 °C, an automatic warning is given (see § 3.6).
Avoid any further increase in temperature to prevent damage to the engine.
- At an engine temperature of 103 °C, an alarm is given (see § 3.6).
Immediately park the vehicle in a safe place and switch off the diesel engine.

- At a hydraulic fluid temperature of 95 °C, an automatic warning is given (see § 3.6).
Avoid any further increase in temperature to prevent damage to the system.
- At a hydraulic fluid temperature of 103 °C, an alarm is given (see § 3.6).
Immediately park the vehicle in a safe place and switch off the diesel engine.
Ensure when large distances have to be covered that the water tank is filled to at least
30% ( ± 250 L ) in connection with the cooling of the hydraulic fluid
.

» Indicator lamp A will light up when the power supply from the dynamo to the battery is
insufficient. If this lamp lights up while the diesel engine is running, drive the vehicle to the
maintenance workshop and switch off the diesel engine.
» Indicator lamp F will light up when the oil pressure in the diesel engine is too low.
If this lamp lights up while the diesel engine is running, drive the vehicle to the maintenance
workshop and switch off the diesel engine.
4.5. Switching the vehicle off
The hand brake must always be engaged when the vehicle is switched off. Otherwise
the vehicle could start moving of its own accord, particularly if it is parked on a
gradient.
1)
Bring the vehicle to a halt:
- First release the accelerator pedal: the vehicle will brake on the engine.
- Then push in the brake pedal: the vehicle comes to a complete standstill.
2) Deactivate all engaged functions.
3) Put the forward / reverse selector in neutral (N).
4) Engage the hand brake.
5) Turn the ignition key fully counter-clockwise and remove it from the lock.
