TO REPLACE POTENTIOMETER SWITCH

FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or Servicing
Machine; Stop On Level Surface, Turn Off
Machine.

1. Open the instrument panel. See TO

ACCESS INSTRUMENT PANEL
instructions.

FOR SAFETY: Disconnect the battery
connections before working on the machine.

2. Mark the location of the plastic gear on the

shaft of the existing potentiometer. Loosen
the small set screw and remove the gear
from the shaft.

3. Remove the jam nut holding the

potentiometer to the mount bracket. Note
the orientation of the potentiometer on the
mount bracket.
