4. Use an arbor press to remove the brush

plug and bearing assembly from the brush
plug shaft. Use the arbor press to install a
new bearing drive plug assembly onto the
existing idler shaft.

5. Reinstall the snap ring onto the idler shaft.

6. Reinstall the M10 flat screw holding the idler

plug shaft and hub assembly to the brush
door. Make sure to align the small pin on the
shaft base with the hole in the brush door.
Leave the flat screw loose for now, the brush
hub will need to be adjusted later.

7. Reinstall the cylindrical scrub brush idler

door. See TO REPLACE A CYLINDRICAL
SCRUB BRUSH instructions in this section.

8. Operate the machine. Check the cylindrical

scrub brush pattern. See TO CHECK
CYLINDRICAL BRUSH PATTERN
instructions in this section.
