Because some of the bits in the status responses are fixed, the user can confirm the command to which the status
belongs and differentiate the status responses from XON/XOF as shown:

The transmit buffer is 99 bytes long. If more than 99 bytes are stored up without being transmitted, the status bytes
that have no place to be stored will be thrown away.
