1. When a call is ringing, press the
BLIND HOLD
Feature button.
• The call is automatically placed on hold and
the
LINE 2
button status lamp flashes.
• A message plays stating that the caller has
been placed on hold, and then the caller
hears music on hold or promotions on hold.
Blind Transfer to Voice Mail
Blind Transfer to Voice Mail enables you to transfer a call
directly to your Voice Mail without answering it. To blind
transfer a call to your Voice Mail:
1. When a call is ringing, press the
BLIND XFER TO
VOICE MAIL
Feature button.
• The call is transferred to your Voice Mail.
Blind Transfer to a Specific Extension
You can blind transfer a call to a specific extension
without connecting to the call. For example, you want to
blind transfer a call to Extension 101. By customizing a
Feature button for Blind Transfer to Extension 101, you
can blind transfer calls to Extension 101. For more
information, see “Customizing Feature Buttons,” page 34.
Conference Rooms
The Telecor VS1 phone system includes three Conference
Rooms that you can gain access to by dialing the extension
assigned to the Conference Room. Each Conference Room
accepts up to 16 callers (this can be any combination of
internal and external callers). All three Conference Rooms
can be used simultaneously. Check with your system
installer to find out which extensions have been assigned as
Conference Rooms on your
Telecor VS1 phone system.
