Measurement Algorithms
Inrush Current
Inrush Current is calculated by recording all the current values above the 100 mA
current level throughout the signal. This signal is integrated to get the total
charge greater than 100 mA. This is the charge in Coulombs and is calculated
using the equation

i is the current waveform above 100 mA.
Capacitance is calculated by using the equation,
Where: C is the capacitance.
Q is the charge.
V is the voltage.
The supply voltage is one of the inputs to Inrush measurement.
Droop Test
Droop voltage is the difference between the V
BUS
value when the droop load is
off and the lowest voltage of the V
BUS
value when the droop load is powered on.
