10. Maintenance

Row unit hub

When the existence of looseness is noticed, it is necessary to make the maintenance 

in the hubs of the disc blades, unaligned double discs, gauge wheels and press wheels.

Disassemble the hubs and remove the internal components.
Clean all parts with diesel oil.
Verify the existence of looseness and the conditions of bearings, retainers and bushings. 

Replace the damaged components or with excessive wear.

The hubs without grease fittings should be assembled with a good amount of lubricant 

on the inner part of the hub.

The hubs should rotate with the hand applying a small effort.

NOTE

- Whenever replacing the bearings, it is necessary to replace the sealing rings and 

the o-rings as well.

- Fill up the inner part of the hub with grease and seal it using the hub cap (A) and 

dust plate (B).
