6. Set-up instructions

Procedures before the sowing

Ideal working speed

Before you start sowing, carry out a general inspection of the seeder, retightening all

bolts and nuts, also verifying the condition of all pins and cotter in order to prevent future

damages. Repeat this operation after the first day of work.

NOTE

- It is recommended to fill up the seeder only on the work place.
- Never transport the seeder with load excess.

Check the tires inflation, keeping the same pressure.
Also check if there is any object inside the hoppers that may damage the metering.
Lubricate all grease fittings properly.

NOTE

- The tires must have the same design and inflation.

The SDA³ and SDA³E seeders operate with a greater efficiency from 5 to 8 km/h. It is

necessary to keep a constant speed during the whole sowing.

NOTE

- Have full knowledge of the field before starting sowing. Provide the delineation of

obstacles or hazardous locations.
