Distribution and metering of large seeds

The amount and distribution of seeds are
predetermined by the perforated plates. In other
words, the number of holes or slots and plate
thickness are considered. It is possible to change
the amount of seeds by the sprocket combinations
in the Drive "A" and Driven "B" shafts.
See, on the following pages, the different
amounts of distributed seeds for the plates of
corn, soybean and bean, according to the sprocket
combinations in the Drive and Driven shafts.
Observe that the table for the plates of corn
relates to 10 (ten) linear meters.
IMPORTANT
- The correct adequacy of the plates to the used seeds is of utmost importance.
- Never combine seeds from different sieves.
- See several plate options for seed distribution on the 'seed distribution plates' page.
- The amount of plates that go along with each seeder corresponds to the row number
of large seeds.
- Recommended speeds to work using the horizontal metering for large seeds:
Corn - 5 km/h;
Bean - 6 km/h;
Soybean - 7 km/h.
