- The lateral rims are standard parts for every pivoting seeder.
NOTE
Standard for SDA³ and SDA³E models
The rims (A) are coupled to the unaligned
double discs, on the disc blades that cut the
stubble. The 310 mm rim is standard and
comes with the equipment, the others are
optionals as described below.
These rims can be assembled in any
spacing and they assure an uniform seed
depth in every row unit.
The counterweights (A) also helps on the sowing
depth, mainly when there is a tendency of wheel
skidding.
IMPORTANT
- When sowing on a prepared soil, it is necessary
to remove both inner and intermediate springs,
leaving just the outer springs from the row rods.
If necessary, remove all counterweights as well.
- The depth must be verified a few times during
sowing, especially when there is a variation on
the soil moisture.
