Cleaning and Troubleshooting
Cleaning
Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning. Never use any water, detergents or
aerosol cleaners.
Troubleshooting
If you have any trouble with your TSR 5200 HDD, please check the following items before
contacting Technical Support.
Never open the case of the device! There is risk of electric shock and the
warranty will be void.
No picture and no sound
Make sure that the TSR 5200 HDD and the TV set are connected to the mains and have
been powered on.
Check if all connection cables are free of damage and seat properly in the respective jacks
on the TSR 5200 HDD and the TV set.
When using a coaxial cable, make sure that the TV set is tuned to the corresponding video
channel.
When using a Scart (Euro AV) cable, check whether the cable is connected properly and
that you have selected the correct AV channel on the TV set.
Unplug the power cord and plug it again into the wall outlet, or toggle the main power
switch on the back panel off and back on.
Picture is Black & White or shows bars
Check whether the colour settings of the TSR 5200 HDD match those of your TV Set (see
page 15 – TV Type and page 16 – Video Output).
