Exchanging Data with the PC
Recorded programmes are stored on the internal hard disk. You can also access this hard
disk from your computer. To do so, connect the computer and the TSR 5200 HDD via a
USB cable on the USB port [8] on the back panel of the device.
- Press the button on the remote
control to go to the Main Menu.

Select the menu option HDD Mode
Change using the or buttons.

Enter the password via the numeric keys
(the default password is 0000).
The TSR 5200 HDD will switch the hard disk for computer access. The option "PC"
appears behind the menu item
HDD Mode Change . Additionally "Pc" will appear on the
front panel display [6].
On your PC, open My Computer. The hard disk will appear as a new storage device and
you will be able to copy or delete data (movies, recordings, music etc.).
For music titles, there is a folder MP3. If you copy MP3 music files into this
folder you can play them back via the Music Box (see page 39 Playing MP3
Music). You can also organise your music files in subfolders, like you do on
your computer.
If you want to copy new device software this must be placed into the folder

.
After you are done with all the desired tasks you have to switch back the internal hard disk
access of the SR 5200 HDD. To do so, enter the password via the numeric keys again.
The device will restart. This process may take a few minutes. Whilst restarting, the display
[6] on the front side of the device shows the message "boot".
