Replacing the EP Cartridge

8.

Gently pull out the sealing tape in the direction of the arrow.

NOTE:

If the tape is pulled out at an angle, it may break possibly rendering the cartridge unusable.

9.

Close the front cover and the upper left cover.

CAUTION: The upper left cover can be closed only when the EP cartridge is inside the
printer. If you have not installed the EP cartridge, do not close the upper left cover by
force. When closing the upper left cover, do not use the latch on the cover. Instead, follow
the instruction label on the cover and push the recommended location.
